Light cuts through the dark, and the story starts to unfold.
WING 1
The Senses
You follow the glowing floor path deeper into the museum. The corridor hums with ambient sound. Ahead, a sign pulses in neon light: THE SENSES. You are about to explore the extraordinary machinery of human perception — sound, smell, sight, and voice.
↓↓→ Entering: Ear & Sound Gallery
👂 Stop 1 — The Ear Gallery
You step into the exhibit and the ear rises around you like a cathedral of sound. Every curve, chamber, and spiral glows in the dark, turning anatomy into a living installation. Listen closely — the museum is already speaking.
Outer Ear
You step closer as the outer ear stands before you, gathering sound waves and guiding them inward like a carved passage.
Middle Ear
You watch the tiny ossicles vibrate in sequence, amplifying each pulse and sending it deeper into the chamber.
Inner Ear
You peer into the inner ear and see the cochlea waiting inside, where sound begins its transformation into hearing.
Cochlea
You follow the spiral shape as it turns vibration into electrical signals that travel onward to the brain.
Play Station
You interact with a hearing test experience, exploring frequency ranges and tracing how sound waves move through the ear.
🔬 Explore: How Does Hearing Work?
You reach out and touch the interactive panel. A challenge appears before you...
FACTS
How does hearing work?
a) mechanical
b) chemical
c) electrical
d) all above
The answer is:
D - hearing is actually a mix of mechanical, chemical, and electrical processes all working together inside your ear.
Who are Georg von Békésy (1961 – Physiology or Medicine), Robert Bárány (1914 – Physiology or Medicine) they are Noble Prize Laureates and A. James Hudspeth, Robert Fettiplace & Christine Petit received the Kavli Prize in Neuroscience 2018 “for their pioneering work on the molecular and neural mechanisms of hearing.”
Play Station
You step into the hands-on museum station and begin testing your own hearing.
Engage your senses as the exhibit guides you through sound frequency ranges and shows how sound waves travel through different parts of the ear in real time.
Try the interactive centers, adjust the challenge level, and discover how this incredible organ transforms vibration into hearing.

You step beneath the glow and look up. The towering nasal cavity model looms overhead in electric blue and purple, alive with motion, light, and detail.
You are standing inside the exhibit now—watching air rush through the passageways, feeling the scale of the anatomy, and tracing the path of every breath as it warms, filters, and transforms.
Air Filtration
The turbinates slow and swirl airflow, filtering dust and other particles before they move deeper into the airway.
Nasal Cavity
The main passage for air warms and humidifies each breath before it continues onward.
Mucus Production
The lining keeps working, producing mucus that traps invaders and protects the passages.
Allergies
Irritated tissue reacts instantly when the nasal passages encounter pollen and other allergens.
Olfactory System
The scent center ignites above, where smell signals begin and your sense of smell comes to life.
Play Station
Test your nose in the interactive scent challenge and learn how each smell signal travels.
🌬️ The Science of Smell — Olfaction Station
You lean in closer. A gentle mist of scent molecules drifts past your face. A display lights up: "How does your nose know?"
At the interactive exhibit panel, you read that olfaction is a form of chemoreception—the sense of smell. Odorants are volatile chemical molecules that stimulate the sense of smell (olfaction) by binding toolfactory receptorsin the nose. The panel explains that this lets the brain perceive distinct scents, from pleasant fragrances to warning signals like the "rotten egg" smell added to odorless natural gas for safety.
  1. Detection: You inhale odorant molecules, which travel to the olfactory epithelium in your nasal cavity.
  1. Binding: The molecules dissolve in mucus and bind to receptors on olfactory sensory neurons.
  1. Transduction: That binding converts the chemical signal into an electrical signal.
  1. Interpretation: The signal travels to the olfactory bulb and then to the brain, which reads the pattern of activated receptors as a specific smell, like "coffee," "rose," or "danger".
🗺️ Follow the Signal: From Nose to Brain
On the wall before you, a glowing diagram traces the journey of a single scent molecule — from the moment it enters your nose to the instant your brain recognizes it.
You stand before a large illuminated museum wall display, where the olfaction process unfolds like an interactive virtual tour. Each stage reveals how a scent becomes a signal the brain can understand.
⚗️ Allergies & The Path to Pharmacia
You notice a glowing sign on the far wall: ALLERGIES → PHARMACIA. A corridor opens. The air changes. You sense you're moving from biology into chemistry...
It feels like a cinematic hallway transition between two wings of the museum, where one subject fades into the next as you continue deeper into the tour.
🗣️ Stop 3 — The Throat Chamber
You stand beneath the towering throat exhibit, looking straight up at the glowing anatomy suspended overhead. The pharynx, larynx, and epiglottis pulse in neon detail, turning the room into a living system of breath, voice, and protection.
Air and food cross paths here in a dramatic split-second choreography — the throat opens, guards, and redirects with every swallow. It feels less like a display and more like standing inside the machinery of speech itself.
1
Pharynx
Main passageway for air and food.

→ Entering: The Brain Lab
🧠 Stop 4 — The Brain Lab
The corridor narrows, then suddenly opens into darkness and light. You’re standing inside the exhibit now — surrounded by a colossal brain model as neurons fire in electric green bursts overhead.
Every pulse, spark, and ripple feels alive. You move through a cinematic neuroscience world where memory, emotion, and thought seem to crackle through the air around you.
Neuroplasticity: Watch the brain adapt and rewire itself in real time.

Emotion Center: Follow the amygdala as emotions ignite across the display.
Cognitive Functions: Trace how different regions work together for thought and decision-making.
Play Station: Test reflexes, simulate neural pathways, and interact with brain-mapping activities that make neuroscience tangible.
🔬 Explore: Inside the Brain
You step closer, and the dark room glows around you in neon green. A holographic brain scan rises from the display, hovering in front of you like a living map of the mind.
You reach out. The frontal lobe lights up under your touch, then the hippocampus, then the cerebellum. Each region responds instantly, revealing how thought, memory, emotion, and movement connect inside the brain.
You trace neural pathways across the projection and watch signals travel in bright pulses from one region to the next. The exhibit surrounds you with an interactive tour of brain structure, turning every touch into a discovery.
